We are in the home town of Lavazza Coffee, Fiats and Grisini Bread sticks, I am sure there are other equally important things from Turin but these are the ones that spring to mind most easily. Nobody though, can dispute that Turin is most famous as the setting for the moveie, The Italian Job. Who can forget the race around the Lingotto roof-top race track, or the run across the weir over the river Po, or the minis speeding through the arches of Piazza Castello. The Viking and I took several photos of Italian Job hot spots so take a peak if your Michael "blow the bloody doors off" Caine fans.
Incredibly there was a chocolate festival in Turin the day we were there (Nathan is a confired and baptised chocoholic) and a whole square was dedicated to chocolate manufacturers exhibiting their latest concoctions, for the first time ever I tried 100% dark chocolate....never again it is disgusting!
